Martha Karua Recieves Warm Welcome in DP Ruto’s Bedroom
Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Deputy President Martha Karua on Sunday campaigned in Eldoret town Uasin Gishu County which is the home of the deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto.
She was recieved by Uasin Gishu Jubilee party Chairman Francis Mwangi Muya who doubles up as Langas Ward MCA.
Karua received warm welcome throughout her campaigns in Eldoret town.
She first attended a Church Service at Ayub Kinyua PCEA thereafter held a campaign rally at Huruma grounds Eldoret which was attended by thousands of her supporters.
Karua called on Uasin Gishu County residents to elect opposition leader Raila Odinga in the fourth coming general elections saying he has what it takes to be the Country’s president.
“I want to call upon Kenyans across the Country to elect Raila Odinga as president in the August polls since as a parent despite having many children you know the one to whom you can send to the shop and cannot steal your money. Raila Odinga is the only person who can be trusted with the country’s leadership,” she said.
Opposition leader Raila Odinga recently appointed Martha Wangare Karua as his deputy ahead of the August polls.
She applauded residents for turning up in large numbers and showing support for their leadership .
“From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Uasin Gishu residents for turning up in large numbers to welcome me in this great County, this shows that the county has changed and support Baba na Mama government and we have no doubt we will win the elections with a great margin,” Karua added.
She says once elected the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Government will fight corruption which has denied Kenyans better services.
Uasin Gishu Jubilee Chairman Francis Muya welcomed Karua in the County promising to deliver over 200,000 votes to Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.
“I want to thank mama Martha Karua for coming to our county , many thought that Jubilee party was dead and that Raila Odinga does not have followers but this is not the case, we will ensure that we deliver over 5 MCA seats and over 200,000 votes to Baba na Mama in Uasin Gishu County ” he said.
Muya has been in the forefront campaigning for the opposition leader Raila Odinga in the County.
He recently organized the first Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance rally at Langas which was attended by all aspirants vying on the Azimio La Umoja one Kenya Alliance party ticket.
