MINISTRY OF ICT, MEDIA COUNCIL OF KENYA IMPRESSED WITH PROGRESS OF ELDORET MEDIA HUB
Officials from the Ministry of ICT and Media Council of Kenya paid a visit to the Eldoret Media Hub to check on its progress.
Led by Secretary of Information in the Ministry of ICT Judy Munyinyi, MCK Rift Valley regional coordinator Jackson Karanja, and Leo Mutisya, MCK manager, Stakeholder engagement and professional ethics the officials hailed the progress of the media hub set up through the funding from the Media Council of Kenya.
“I am impressed by the concept of the hub,” Munyinyi said while affirming the government’s commitment to continue supporting media associations across the country.
The Secretary of Information also challenged women media practitioners to be bold and ensure they also have an impact in the male-dominated media industry.
Karanja on his part affirmed the commitment of the media council to continue supporting the Eldoret Media Hub – which is managed by the Uasin Gishu Journalists Association.
