RC George Natembeya Elected Trans-Nzoia Governor
Former Rift Valley RC has won the Trans-Nzoia gubernatorial seat.
Natembeya defeated Chris Wamalwa who was vying for a DAPK Party ticket.
“It is with profound humility that I accept the overwhelming support that I have been shown by the residents of Transnzoia- bestowing me with privileges to be their governor. First,I thank the almighty God for the strength and zeal to sail through the political expedition to premier transformation in Transnzoia. I also thank my family, My able Deputy Hon Philomenah Bineah Kapkory, my team, and the entire people of Transnzoia for their relentless effort towards my gubernatorial bid,” he said.
“To my competitor Hon Chris Wamalwa I wish to request you we join hands to transform Transnzoia, since this victory belongs to Transnzoia residents therefore it will be a great honor as leaders to shelve our competitive aspects and focus to bring change. Transnzoia has won,victory is all ours. Cheers my people. God bless you all,” he added.
