My Administration Will Promote Local Production-Vesca Kangogo

Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Vesca Kangogo now says that her administration will promote local production.

Speaking to the press Kangogo said this will ensure that there is the creation of jobs amongst the youths.

“Promoting local production will lead to regional industrialization sustainable development that would guarantee jobs, vary the economy, advance the standard of living as well as security of lives and properties depends on the existence of a robust economic development agenda that encourages production and sustenance of local goods,” Kangogo said.

She says In order for the County to steer towards the industrialization of the region the county must adopt intentional adopting and implementing frameworks that will enhance manufacturing and promote exports.

“There are immense benefits in supporting and embracing locally made goods. It is one of the sure ways to fully realize our potential as a society. It is what everyone should support,” he added.

Kangogo is the only woman who has so far declared interest in the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat which is currently being held by Governor Jackson Mnadago who is serving his second and first term in office.

She says she is best suited to take the County to greater heights.
“My aim is to transform the county economically through empowering residents financially. I urge residents to support my candidature and I promise to work for them for a better Uasin Gishu,” Kangogo said.

The Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat has attracted many contestants which include former gubernatorial aspirant Zedekiah Bundotich also known as Buzeki, Kenyans ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok, TSC commissioner Cleophas  Tirop, Jonathan Bii, David Kiprotuk among others.
So far Governor Mandago has not endorsed anyone for the seat as he plans to retire.
