Kakamega Revenue Collectors Issued With Working Tools
Kakamega County Revenue Agency (KCRA) staff have been issued with working tools by Governor Fernandes Barasa to ensure effectiveness; against the backdrop of financial uncertainties orchestrated by delayed disbursement of funds from the National Treasury.
The Officers were issued with uniforms to enhance visibility, computers to increase technological efficiency in documentation, data processing & storage as well as furniture to provide secure storage of documents in the offices.
In his speech, the Governor appreciated the hardworking and dedicated officers for consistently mobilising resources and extended his gratitude to partners for supporting the County Government’s revenue collection agenda. This year’s County collection target is Ksh 2 Billion.
FCPA Barasa used the occasion to appreciate Revenue officers who were trained, sat for and passed the international TADAT examinations
